7 lakh people did not take property deeds: Angani
Andhra Pradesh: Minister Angani Satya Prasad alleged that the previous government had siphoned off ₹6,000 crore in the name of houses for the poor. ‘While 22 lakh people were granted house plots, 7 lakh people did not take conveyance deeds (property deeds). 2.5 lakh people did not take the actual pattas as they were given plots in ponds and flooded areas. Of those who took them, 43,948 are ineligible. We are examining another 1,11,037 pattas,’ he said.
