Badminton Asia Championship.. Silver for Ayush
Indian shuttler Ayush Shetty emerged as the runner-up in the men's singles of the Badminton Asia Championship (BAC). He lost to Chinese player Xiuqi 8-21, 10-21 in the final. With this, Ayush won the silver medal. It is noteworthy that this is the first time in 61 years that an Indian shuttler has reached the final of the BAC men's singles. Ayush reached the final by defeating those ranked 1, 4, 7, and 20 in the world rankings.
