Do you know how much gold RBI has?
The Reserve Bank of India is gradually increasing its gold reserves. The latest RBI data shows that the reserves stood at 880 tonnes as of September this year. This is equivalent to $95 billion (Rs. 8.36 lakh crore) at current market value. It bought 600 kg in the first 6 months of FY 2025-26. The RBI has revealed that gold prices are increasing in the face of global economic and political uncertainties.
