GST collections Rs. 1.94 lakh crore
The gross collections of Goods and Services Tax (GST) reached Rs. 1.94 lakh crore in May. This is 3.2 percent more than the Rs. 1.88 lakh crore collected in the same month last year. Excluding refunds of Rs. 27,281 crore, the net GST revenue last month was recorded at Rs. 1.67 lakh crore, a growth of 3.3 percent on an annual basis. Meanwhile, the gross GST revenue in April reached an all-time record high of Rs 2.43 lakh crore.
