HRC Expresses Outrage Over Infant's Amputation Incident
Hyderabad: The State Human Rights Commission (TGHRC) has expressed severe outrage over an incident at the Khammam Government Maternity and Child Welfare Centre, where an infant's arm had to be amputated due to staff negligence. Taking *suo motu* cognizance of this inhumane incident, the Commission has directed the Khammam District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) to submit a comprehensive report. The next hearing for this case is scheduled to be held before the Commission on June 29. The Commission has made it clear that the concerned officials must submit their report before that date.
