Congress leader Rahul Gandhi questioned what kind of justice it is to grant bail to rapists and treat the victims as criminals. "Is the way the authorities dealt with the Unnao rape victim, who was protesting against granting bail to the accused, correct? Was seeking justice her only mistake? The victim was harassed repeatedly. She is still living in fear. Granting bail to the accused is shameful," he fumed.
