Major changes in the army in Bangladesh.. Promotion of an officer in India!
After Tariq Rahman took charge as the new Prime Minister of Bangladesh, key changes took place in the army of that country. In particular, Mohammad Hafizur Rahman, who was the defense advisor in India, was recalled and promoted to Major General. Along with the new CGS, new officers were also appointed for military intelligence. The newly formed BNP government took these decisions to increase its grip.
