Power banks banned on planes!
DGCA is considering banning power banks on domestic flights. Recently, a passenger's power bank caught fire on an IndiGo flight, and a major accident was averted due to the alertness of the crew. In this context, it is considering banning them or allowing those with lower capacity. Guidelines are likely to be issued soon. There is a ban on the use of power banks on many international flights.
