Release of 91 Life Convicts
Kushaiguda: Saumya Mishra, Director General of Prisons, urged those released from jails to embark on a new life. On Tuesday, officials released a total of 91 life convicts—including six female prisoners—from various jails across the state. These releases were carried out in accordance with the guidelines of G.O. No. 54, issued by the government at midnight on June 1st to mark the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day, and applied to those who had demonstrated good conduct during their incarceration.
