Sale of 95.25 Lakh Cases of Liquor and Beer in May
Hyderabad: The state witnessed record-breaking liquor sales during the month of May. According to statistics from the Excise Department, a total of 9,525,482 cases of liquor and beer were sold across Telangana in May. The total value of these sales amounted to ₹3,776 crores. In just the last two days of May alone, 8.83 lakh cases were sold, generating business worth ₹464 crores. The Excise Department noted that, compared to May of last year, a significant increase in liquor sales was observed in May of this year.
