When summer comes, the city of Bangalore turns ‘pink’. The reason for this is the ‘Tabebia Rosia’ plants planted by Forest Officer S.G. Neginahal between 1982-1987. They bring a new art to the city with their pink flowers a month before Ugadi. However, nature lovers say that although they are beautiful to look at, planting indigenous trees in their place would provide a habitat for birds and be better for the environment. Your comment?
