Maoist Asanna said that they stopped the armed struggle to prevent damage to the party due to attacks by central forces. They said that this decision was taken after an opinion poll under the leadership of party general secretary BR Dada. They revealed that some comrades consider this wrong due to lack of information. Recently, Asanna surrendered in Chhattisgarh along with 200 Maoists. Earlier, Mallojula surrendered in Maharashtra.
