The rupee, which started its journey at 85.80 in January 2025, continued to fall. The rupee's exchange rate against the dollar reached the 85.4 level once or twice in March and April. Although there was some hope of relief, it proved to be disappointing. On May 5th and 12th, it touched the 84 mark, raising hopes once again. Subsequently, it fell to a record low, reaching an all-time high of 90.95 on December 16th. On December 24th, it was 89.47.
