Tragedy.. Umpire dies in bee attack
A tragedy occurred in an under-13 match held in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A swarm of bees attacked during the match. In this incident, umpire Manik Gupta (65) lost his life. Officials revealed that he died before being taken to the hospital after being stung by a large number of bees around his face and body. Another field umpire and 15-20 players were also injured. The health condition of those receiving treatment in the hospital is stable.
