A major accident averted for Ayyappa devotees
A major accident was averted for Ayyappa devotees who were traveling from Sabarimala to Hyderabad. The brakes of the bus they were traveling in failed on the Guvvalacheruvu ghat road in Kadapa district. The bus collided with a cement-laden lorry that came in its way. In this incident, the bus driver and six Ayyappa devotees sustained injuries. The devotees lamented that if the bus hadn't hit the lorry, it would have fallen into the gorge, and if that had happened, there would have been a heavy loss of life.
