Andhra Pradesh: APSDMA said that the severe cyclonic circulation in the southeast Bay of Bengal has moved at a speed of 8Kmph in the last 6 hours. It is currently centered 720km from Chennai, 790km from Visakhapatnam, and 780km from Kakinada. It is expected to strengthen into a cyclonic circulation in the southwest and west-central Bay of Bengal within 12 hours. It is likely to turn into a severe cyclonic circulation by Tuesday morning and cross the coast near Kakinada that night.
