PG seats increased to 96 in new medical colleges
Andhra Pradesh: The National Medical Council has sanctioned an additional 36 PG seats for the new government medical colleges. The government provided the necessary appointments and facilities for the additional seats in these colleges, after which the principals applied to the NMC. The new seats were sanctioned following consultations by Minister Satyakuamr. 12 seats have been allocated to Eluru, 4 to Rajahmundry, 4 to Nandyal, 8 to Vizianagaram, and 8 to Machilipatnam. Previously, they had won 60 seats, and now that number has increased to 96.
