Scholarship arrears of Rs. 365.75 crore released
Telangana: The Finance Department has released scholarship arrears of Rs. 365.75 crore related to the BC, SC, and Tribal Welfare departments. Rs. 191.63 crore was released to the SC Welfare Department, Rs. 152.59 crore to the Tribal Welfare Department, and Rs. 21.62 crore to the BC Welfare Department. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka stated that all the arrears pending from the previous government's tenure have been fully released. He said that despite financial difficulties, they would not compromise on education.
