‘Auto’ Josh in September
The sales of automobile companies continued to grow in the month of September. Sales of passenger vehicles in the domestic market grew by 21 percent to 4.60 lakh units. All major car companies registered double-digit growth in sales. Sales in the same month last year were 3.78 lakh units. With the festive season starting in October, car companies have increased supplies to dealers. Domestic car manufacturing giant Maruti Suzuki’s sales in September increased by 37 percent to 1,81,838 units.
