Crops are drying up due to power shortage
Hyderabad: “The government is not paying attention to the fact that farmers’ crops are drying up due to power shortage in the state. The government has entered into a joint venture to sell 800 MW of Singareni power to Rajasthan. Why sell it to another state when there is a need for power here?” BRS Legislative Party Deputy Leader Harish Rao protested. He visited Narmetta Substation in Nangunur Mandal of Siddipet district on Thursday. On this occasion, he examined the records and logbook of power supply to agriculture.
