Hyderabad: The functioning of hospitals under the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP)—which provide essential specialist medical services such as gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and pediatrics to people in rural and urban areas—is unsatisfactory. There is a lack of proper supervision over the doctors and staff at these hospitals. Consequently, doctors in many places are arbitrarily skipping their duties. As a result, the public is not receiving full medical services.
