Plot to Incite Unrest at Jantar Mantar
Kolkata: West Bengal police have foiled a plot by the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The conspiracy reportedly involved inciting violence during a student protest at Jantar Mantar and planning attacks on West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and other prominent figures. These details emerged after the Special Task Force (STF) arrested and interrogated a suspected terrorist, Hamim Mondal, in the Purba Bardhaman district.
