Embraer aircraft manufacturing plant in Nagpur
The final assembly line for Embraer C-390 Millennium aircraft is to be set up in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Brazil-based Embraer recently tied up with Mahindra Group to win a contract for 60 Multi-Role Transport Aircraft (MTA) from the Indian Air Force. If the contract is won, the two companies plan to set up an assembly unit in Nagpur to manufacture the C-390 aircraft to be supplied to the Air Force in India.
