Four Medals for Sreeja at Commonwealth TT
Hyderabad's Akula Sreeja bagged four medals at the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships. She secured gold in the team event and the doubles title, silver in the singles event, and bronze in the mixed doubles category. In the doubles final held on Sunday, the pair of Sreeja and Cinderella Das defeated fellow Indians Yashaswini and Divyanshi with a score of 11-8, 11-13, 11-8, 11-6. However, in the singles final, Sreeja lost to Yashaswini (6-11, 1-11, 11-8, 7-11, 11-13) and had to settle for the silver medal.
