Recharge plans, STVs should be prominently displayed
New Delhi: Telecom regulator TRAI on Thursday issued orders requiring telecom companies to prominently display mandatory recharge plans and special tariff vouchers (STVs) on their websites, mobile apps and special sales points. Following complaints from consumers, TRAI examined the websites and mobile apps of telecom companies and found that the specified plans were not easily visible. In this context, the latest orders have been issued.
