Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal stated that this day would be written in golden letters in the history of Parliament. Bills pertaining to delimitation and the implementation of women's reservation were introduced in the Lok Sabha today. Speaking on the occasion, he noted, "The 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam' Bill was passed in 2023 itself." "Parliament has approved the allocation of 33 percent of seats to women in legislative bodies. The time has come to implement this," he remarked.
