Krishna River Water Changes Color!
Gadwal: The waters of the Krishna River have changed color at the Nagarjuna Sagar and Jurala projects. There is growing concern over the water in these projects appearing green. While speculation that pollution is the cause of the discoloration has mounted, officials from the Pollution Control Board—who tested the water—state that pollution is not the reason. They attribute the color change to algae and assure that there is no cause for alarm.
