NHRC serious on the prostitution case
New Delhi: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has reacted seriously to the inhuman prostitution incident that came to light in Bachupalli area of Medchal-Malkajgiri district. The commission, which took suo motu action on the media reports, issued notices to the Chief Secretary (CS), DGP, Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector and Cyberabad Police Commissioner on Thursday. It has ordered them to submit a comprehensive report on the steps taken to protect the victims and the progress of the case within four weeks.
