Ship Fire in Indonesia: Five Dead
Jakarta: A passenger ferry caught fire near Madura Island in Indonesia. Five people lost their lives in the incident, while another 41 are missing; 225 people were rescued safely. Immediately after the accident, the Surabaya Search and Rescue office and nearby vessels launched rescue operations. Officials reported that 225 people had been safely rescued by the afternoon.
