Sleeper Seats on Airplanes!
Sleeper beds—typically found in buses and trains—will soon make an appearance on Air New Zealand flights. This amenity, dubbed "SkyNest Pods," will be offered on long-haul journeys lasting 17 hours. These pods are set to become available on the New York-Auckland route starting this coming November. The facility allows up to six passengers to sleep in the pods at any given time, with different passengers utilizing them in four-hour shifts. To avail of this service, passengers must book it in advance.
