Surge in Devotee Footfall at Temples Under Alliance Rule: Anam
Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy announced that construction work for 706 temples in Andhra Pradesh, at a cost of ₹83 crore, would commence shortly. He noted that the influx of devotees visiting temples has increased by 75% under the current alliance government's administration. Speaking during a review meeting regarding the *Brahmotsavams* (annual festivals) at Penchalakona in the Nellore district, he stated, "We are currently providing a monthly grant of ₹10,000 each to 5,900 small temples to cover the expenses for daily rituals, lamps, and food offerings." "It is a matter of pride for the people of Andhra that the Pushkarams—the river festival—is set to take place for the third time while Chandrababu is serving as Chief Minister," he stated.
